"Five Walls",2015, installation
A research-based project following two historical exhibitions that were on display at the gallery in the 70s and 90s.
The installation explores the possibility to re-think the exhibition space as a historic place, an archives conceptualized as a body whose walls are infused with layers of knowledge and memory. The drawings in the exhibition were responses to iconic works of Israeli artists from the 1970s, with a focus on re-examining these works through the prism of gender.
